About Tikoun Olam

Tikoun Olam is a free, solidarity-driven donation platform connecting generous individuals with people in need across Israel. Our name comes from the Hebrew concept of tikkun olam — "repairing the world" — and it reflects our core belief that small acts of giving can create lasting change in communities.

Our platform allows anyone to post items they no longer need — clothes, furniture, household appliances, toys, food, and more — completely free of charge. There are no fees, no commissions, and no hidden costs. Everything on Tikoun Olam is given freely, from one person to another, out of generosity and solidarity.

We built Tikoun Olam for every Israeli family facing financial hardship, every student furnishing their first apartment, every elderly person looking for a helping hand, and every volunteer organization working to support vulnerable communities. Our platform is designed to be simple, dignified, and inclusive — no registration is required to browse listings, and donors can choose to remain anonymous.

The platform is available in Hebrew, French, and English, reflecting the diverse communities that make up Israeli society. Our multilingual approach ensures that new immigrants, French-speaking communities, and English speakers can all participate fully.

Tikoun Olam is built and maintained by a small, passionate team of developers and community volunteers who believe in the power of technology to strengthen human bonds. We are committed to keeping this platform free, safe, and accessible for everyone in Israel.
